MONSTER BASH

For my sons 4th birthday I created Monster Bash.  At the time my son was really into Monsters so I thought I could have a lot of fun putting together the best Monster bash possible.

Monster grin:  A huge hit were the Monster grins.  Too save time and because I fell in love with these grins I purchased the clip art on Etsy from JW illustrations.

To create the grins I printed out each grin on cardstock paper, and then I attached each grin onto a paper straw.

Paper goods: I created all of the additional decorations that were used: Napkin rings, banner, and invitations.

Sweet Treats: I generally serve cupcakes for each party, but for this party I found the perfect cakes to match my theme.  The monster cakes were purchased at the Super Target Bakery.  I was able to customize the colors to blue & orange to match all of the other decor.

Super Hero Birthday Party

Bonk! I can't believe how it all came together, but I made my son's 5th birthday party a SUPER fun time for him and his friends.

For my son's 5th birthday I decided to throw my first kids party.  The most stressful part of the planning was coming up with activities for twenty 5 year olds.

DECORATIONS-
Cupcake toppers, banner signs, Napkin rings were all designed by myself.  I decided to use the general super hero logos.  My son's favorite hero is Batman so I went with the Justice League characters.  I also used Red, Blue, Yellow, and Black as my main theme colors.

SUPER HERO MASKS-
Every super hero needs to have a mask.  I wanted to provide masks for all of the kids, but wanted to keep it cheap so I bought EVA Foam at the local craft store and traced out masks.  After cutting out the masks I tied elastic onto each mask.  The masks were then also used as our activity.  I bought stickers, letters, and let the kids decorate their masks.

PARTY FAVORS-
I wanted to keep with the them of the party so I shopped around at stores and on the internet for all the goodies.  I found Justice league pencils and temporary tattoos at Michael's a local craft shop.  Spider man Fruit snacks.
